Minutes of the Community Meetings Held

May 19th, 20th, and 21st

At S. V. Marshall, J.J. McClain, and Williams – Sullivan

Each meeting began at 6 o’clock and the same format was followed nightly. There was a panel of District level department heads/coordinators, the Superintendent, and a facilitator. Each person gave a brief synopsis of his/her departmental responsibilities and related those responsibilities to the 2014-2015 merging of schools.

Norms were set as follows:

                                Start/end on time (7:30 p.m.)

                                Cell phones on silent

Ask questions as each person presents (at Marshall,) and hold questions until everyone finishes his/her presentation (J.J. McClain and Williams-Sullivan)

A meeting has been scheduled for Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Holmes County School District Superintendent’s Office in the Teachers’ Workroom at 5:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to start the planning process for FY’2015 School Year Federal Programs (I, II, and Title VI) and to revise and update board policies. Your presence and input are crucial.
